Anonymous hackers claim to have taken down Russian propaganda station

Hacking collective Anonymous claims to have taken down the website of Russian propaganda station RT News.

Anonymous is an international decentralized activist and hacktivist collective. He is known for his various cyber attacks against various governments and corporations. He also attacked the Church of Scientology.

Anonymous members (known as anons) wear Guy Fawkes masks in the style of the movie V for Vendetta.

Anonymous hacktivism targets included government agencies, child pornography websites; the Westboro Baptist Church and the Ashley Madison betrayal website.

Some think of them as ‘freedom fighters’ and digital Robin Hoods, others say they are a ‘cyber mob’.

However, it seems they are on the side of history this time around, with their attack on Putin’s good image.

They also declared that the Anonymous collective is officially in cyber warfare against the Russian government.

Not everyone was a fan.

How about you leave it to the professionals. If Russia needs the font to be changed on a webpage, we can let you know where to find it.

Hackers Anonymous: The Cryptographic Connection

Anonymous launched its own cryptocurrency last year. This comes after a 10-year semi-hiatus after the US FBI cracked down on them, arresting a subgroup of Anonymous known as LulzSec.

But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the group has resurfaced on social media. They came bringing news that they had developed their own crypto token, Year Inu.

Anon Inu

The group said the new token was created to counter Elon Musk’s influence in cryptocurrency markets. And they were against the launch of China’s digital currency while also banning Bitcoin mining in the country.

They said on their YouTube channel: “We believe cryptocurrency is just getting started, so we launched the Anon Inu token, a new community token with several built-in utilities. In addition to fighting Elon Musk in the meme war, the token will also be fighting China in the crypto war. Anon Inu token holders will regularly receive free tokens and other prizes. The team will also donate a portion of their earnings to animal shelters that help dogs. Token holders will also receive a free Anon Inu profile picture NFT.”

The Anon Inu token operates on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). It has a circulating supply of 1 quadrillion (1,000,000,000,000,000) tokens.

I think maybe it’s time for BeInCrypto to watch Anon Inu. Let’s all watch this space.
